  • SERVICE    After payment is received, Riddell will CLEAN, SANITIZE, RECONDITION AND RECERTIFY YOUR EQUIPMENT. The process typically takes 4-5 weeks to complete.
  • HIT THE FIELD    YOUR EQUIPMENT WILL BE RETURNED GAME READY.

APPROXIMATELY 6-8 WEEKS TO COMPLETE.

This time can change and does not include transit time. Average time to inspect your helmet is 1-2 weeks. Plan for an additional 4-5 weeks for completion once payment is received. Our goal is to complete your order in the shortest timeframe possible, however throughout various times of the year production times may be longer.

Customer must provide their own box when shipping equipment. Please use an unmarked box that is free of previous shipping labels. Prior to shipping your helmet, please remove chin straps (excluding SpeedFlex models), mouth guards and eye shields. If received, these items will be discarded. All decals will be removed and discarded. Leave all helmet components such as internal liners and padding intact. If a helmet is received without the necessary internal components, additional charges may apply.

Please do not send cash, check or money order with your equipment. We only accept credit/debit card payments, which will be processed upon inspection of your equipment. Work will not start until payment is collected.

When a debit/credit card is provided, we will request authorization from your bank for the transaction amount immediately. Your bank will place a hold on these funds in anticipation of receiving the actual withdrawal from your account and then release back to your account within the next 2-3 business days. We will not process the actual charge to your card until your order reaches our shipping team.

Evidence of any of the following conditions will operate to void this warranty:

  • Failure to have the helmet reconditioned at least every two (2) years by a NOCSAE Licensed Reconditioner.

  • Installation of used parts instead of new parts whenever a liner replacement is necessary.

  • Where shells have been damaged by a chemical reaction from the use of incompatible materials such as:

    • Attachment of a guard, face mask or component of another manufacturer or mismatched material.

    • Use of cleaners, waxes or paints of another manufacturer or failure to follow recommended cleaning and painting instructions.

  • Excessive drilling of holes or drilling of any new holes less than 1⁄2” from each other or the edge of the shell. Abusive treatments or any use other than the playing of American football.

  • Removal of, or obliteration of, the Warranty label, date code or warning labels.

Varsity and youth football helmet component parts are warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year provided there has been normal use and proper maintenance. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, whether Statutory or otherwise, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose. Manufacturer shall not be liable for any consequential damages resulting from the use of its products. Products covered by these warranties should be returned to the manufacturer, along with evidence of the date of purchase.
