Riddell InSite utilizes new integrated technology to monitor and record significant head impacts sustained during a football game or practice. Coaches and other sideline staff will now have Riddell InSite's unique vantage point of what goes on inside the helmet at the time of contact. InSite is designed to alert team staff of high risk single and multiple head impacts, and enable improved identification and management of concussion.
Riddell InSite is comprised of three easy-to-operate parts, designed to accommodate individual, partial or full teams up to 150 players.
InSite measures HITsp, an advanced head impact exposure metric encompassing effects of linear and rotational acceleration, duration and location into a single measure of head impact severity. This composite measurement is more sensitive to diagnosed concussions than any other impact severity metric currently available.

components made by Analog Devices, the same people who power airbags used in the automotive industry. When the system detects a “Suspect Impact Profile” (SIP) for a particular player, an alarm page alerts the medical or training staff.
The system measures the magnitude (both linear and rotational acceleration), location, direction and duration as well as the exact time of each impact. It also computes more sophisticated indices such as Head Impact Criteria (HIC), Gadd Severity Index (SI) and Head Impact Telemetry Severity Profile (HIT SP).
Riddell SRS has been used by major research institutions for over a decade with the collection of over 2 million on-field impacts and has been the subject of or used for over 80 peer-reviewed, scientific publications.
